Stuffed peppers
- 6 sweet peppers(red,orange,yellow)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cup rice, cooked
- 1 can tomatoes, crushed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 3 packages sazon goya seasoning
- 1 tsp adobo seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter/margerine
- 1 can beef broth
- 3 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
- preheat oven to 300
- Cut tops of peppers off and clean out the inside
- Brown the ground beef
- Sautee onion, tomato and garlic in olive oil for approx.
- 5 min
- Bring beef broth and water (half/half) to a boil.
- Add minute rice.
- Drain rice when cooked.
- Add 2 packets of sazon goya and butter/margerine
- Add sauteed veggies to browned ground beef.
- Mix rice in with ground beef
- Stuff each pepper and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each.
- Place peppers in deep cake pan with a little water on the bottom of the pan.
- Cover with foil.
- Cook on 300 F for 1 hour
