Extra Fudgy Raspberry Swirl Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and vanilla.
  5. Stir in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in flour and salt; mix just until flour is moistened.
  7. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of preserves on batter in corners and around edge of pan; gently pull knife through batter and preserves towards center for swirled effect.
  9. (Do not over swirl.)
  10. Bake 33-38 minutes or until bars just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Cut into bars.
  13. Sprinkle powdered sugar over bars, if desired.
