Triple Fruit Bars Recipe

  1. Combine flours and oats.
  2. Stir in butter, 1/2 c. honey and 1 tsp.
  3. cinnamon and blend.
  4. Spread 3/4 of the oat mix in pan.
  5. Place sliced bananas in blender and puree.
  6. Core and cut up apples.
  7. Combine bananas, apples, remaining 1/4 c. honey, 1/2 tsp.
  8. cinnamon, raisins, sugar, lemon juice and peel in medium saucepan.
  9. Cover, simmer 10 min, stirring.
  10. Uncover, simmer 10 min more, stirring.
  11. Cool.
  12. Slice banana into apple mix; add in walnuts.
  13. Fold until blended.
  14. Spread over flour mix on top.
  15. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 min.
  16. Cool.
  17. Cut into bars.
