Creamy Italian Style Smashed Potatoes
- 2 lb. new potatoes (about 6), quartered King Sooper's 5 lb For $1.88 thru 02/09
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Cook potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large saucepan 15 to 20 min.
- or until potatoes are tender; drain.
- Return potatoes and garlic to pan; mash lightly with cream cheese and milk.
- Add basil; mash just until blended.
- Spoon into serving bowl.
- Top with cheeses.
