Almost famous fried pickles
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 peanut or vegetable oil for frying
- 1 3/4 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 kosher salt
- 2 cup sliced dill pickles, drained
- whisk 411, cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup water in larger bowl until smooth.
- spread pickles on paper towel and pat dry.
- add half of pickles to the batter and toad to coat.
- remove from batter using slotted spoon and add to oil one at a time.
- fry until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes
- remove and drain on paper towels.
