Ham Casserole
- 16 slices bread
- 12 cup butter (or more)
- 8 ham slices
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
- 12 cup melted butter
- Trim crusts from the bread.
- Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
- Butter 8 slices bread.
- Place buttered side up in pan.
- Place ham slices on bread.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Butter other 8 slices bread.
- Put in pan butter side up.
- Beat eggs with milk, salt, and dry mustard.
- Pour over the bread and ham slices.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Before baking, add crushed cornflakes to the top.
- Pour the melted butter on top.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
