Harvard Cooler

• 1 tablespoon sugar syrup
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 3 ounces applejack
• 3 or 4 ice cubes
• Club soda

1. Combine all ingredients except the soda in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously.
2. Strain into a 12-ounce collins glass and fill with soda.
