Pinwheel Sausage Rolls Recipe
- 4 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 pound warm pork sausage, crumbled
- 1 pound regular pork sausage, crumbled
- 3/4 c. green chilies, liquid removed & minced
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- Mix the first 3 ingredients and chill 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 4 parts, rolling each into a rectangle.
- Mix sausage, chilies and cheese together and spread 1/4 of which mix on a rectangle.
- Then roll in a jelly roll fashion as tight as possible.
- Repeat with other dough rectangles.
- These may be frzn and thawed about 1/2 hour before baking.
- Slice 1/3 inch thick and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.
