Daikon Radish and Bacon Soup Simmer

  1. Cut the daikon radish into large bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cut the bacon into 1 cm cubes.
  3. Put the daikon radish and bacon into a pan and add enough water to cover the ingredients well.
  4. Add the stock cube, sugar and butter and heat.
  5. When the daikon radish has softened and the liquid is reduced, adjust the taste with a little soy sauce, and remove from the heat.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle green onion to finish.
