East Carolina Barbeque Sauce
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon ground dry mustard
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix cider vinegar, molasses, ground dry mustard, butter, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
- Cook and stir until all sugar has dissolved.
- Do not allow the mixture to come to a boil.
