Steakhouse Burgers with Horseradish Sour Cream

  1. Shape ground beef into 4 patties, each 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Sprinkle patties with 1/2 teaspoon salt, then with 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper, pressing pepper lightly into patties.
  3. Heat nonstick 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add patties and cook about 6 minutes for medium or until of desired doneness, shaking skillet occasionally and turning patties once.
  5. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine sour cream, horseradish, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper.
  6. Serve patties on English muffins with lettuce and horseradish sauce.
