Diabetic Christmas Pear

  1. Peel and core pear.
  2. Cut in half or into slices.
  3. Combine water, sugar replacement, food colouring and cinnamon stick into saucepan.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Add pear.
  6. Reduce heat and allow to simmer 3 mins.
  7. Turn pear several times to completely colour.
  8. Remove with slotted spoon.
  9. Serve hot or cold.
