Evil Mint Brownies

  1. Grease 13x9in.
  2. baking pan and set aside.
  3. In a sauce pan, melt butter/margarine and chocolate over low hear stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in sugar and vanilla using a wooden spoon.
  6. Add eggs one at a time.
  7. Stir until just combined.
  8. Stir in flour.
  9. Spread batter into greased pan.
  10. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
  11. When done, take out brownies and shut off oven.
  12. Put mints on top of hot brownies (in single layer).
  13. Out back in over for 7 minutes.
  14. If they didn't spread evenly, lightly spread around top of brownies.
  15. In mixing bowl, beat 1/3 cup softened butter/margarine.
  16. Gradually add 2 cups of the powdered sugar, beating well.
  17. Slowly beat in 1/4 cup of milk and both extracts.
  18. Slowly beat in remaining powdered sugar.
  19. Beat in additional milk, as needed, a little at a time to reach spreading consistency.
  20. Tint with 2 drops of green food coloring.
  21. Spread frosting onto brownies when they have completely cooled.
