Cocoa Scones Made with Olive Oil
- 200 grams White flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 packets Sweetened cocoa (see step 6)
- 30 ml Olive oil
- 1 Egg
- 70 grams Milk
- 1 Coconut (optional)
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl, add the cocoa and mix well.
- Mix the egg and milk together, and then stir into the bowl from step 1 in small batches.
- Mix in the olive oil and coconut, and bring the dough together.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and stretch out to a 2 cm thickness by hand or with a rolling pin.
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Cut out shapes with a cutter, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, bake for 15 minutes, and they're done!
- I used Swiss Miss sweetened cocoa.
