Maple Old-Fashioned
- 1 ounce dark amber syrup
- Several dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 orange wedges
- 2 lemon wedges
- 2 ounces bourbon
- Sparkling water
- Stemmed maraschino cherry
- Pour the maple syrup into an old-fashioned glass.
- Saturate with bitters, then squeeze in juice from 1 orange wedge and 1 lemon wedge.
- Add remaining wedges, press with a pestle, add bourbon and stir well.
- Add ice cubes, fill with sparkling water and stir again.
- Pour, and garnish with a cherry.
