Tea Garden Salad
- 1 (3 ounce) package orange Jell-O
- 1 cup black tea, hot
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
- 1 (9 ounce) can pineapple, crushed
- 1 (5 ounce) can water chestnuts, sliced
- Dissolve gelatin in hot tea.
- Drain and reserve juices from oranges and pineapple.
- Add 1 cup of reserved juices to gelatin.
- (Add orange juice to equal if not enough fruit juices).
- Stir well.
- Chill until gelatin becomes thick.
- Add water chestnuts, oranges, and pineapple.
- Spoon into well oiled molds.
- Refrigerate until set.
