Barbequed Green Beans Recipe
- 2 (10 ounce.) pkg. French style green beans, thaw partially
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Dash pepper
- 4 thin slices lemon
- 1/2 c. water chestnuts
- 2 tbsp. green onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Place green beans on large square double thickness aluminum foil.
- Season with salt, pepper and sugar.
- Top with lemon, green onion and water chestnuts.
- Dot with butter.
- Bring edges of foil up and seal securely, leaving room for some expansion.
- Grill over slow coals, 35-40 min.
- 6-8 servings.
