Vanilla Milk Fold-in Sheet for Bread with Condensed Milk!
- 15 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 5 grams Cornstarch
- 110 grams Condensed milk
- 50 ml Heavy cream
- 1 Egg whites (medium)
- 10 grams Unsalted butter
- 8 drops Vanilla oil
- Combine the bread flour and cornstarch in a heat-resistant bowl.
- Gradually add the condensed milk while stirring to prevent lumps.
- Add the heavy cream and continue stirring.
- As shown in the photo, it will thicken.
- Microwave uncovered for 1 minute at 600 W. Remove from the microwave, stir it well, add the egg whites and vanilla oil and mix together well.
- Heat for 30 seconds in a microwave set to 600 W. Remove and stir quickly.
- Heat again for another 30 seconds, stir, and repeat 3 times.
- It should become one plump lump.
- If it seems too loose, heat it again while keeping an eye on it.
- The total amount of microwave time should be 2.5 to 3 minutes.
- Once it becomes just the right thickness, quickly add the butter and stir it as the butter melts.
- Once it becomes one lump, as seen in the photo, place it on a sheet of plastic wrap.
- Cover it from the top with plastic wrap as well and then roll it out into a 15 x 20 cm rectangle.
- Chill it in the refrigerator.
- I usually make the fold-in sheet before making the bread dough.
- That way you can let the sheet chill while you're making the bread dough.
- Here is a recipe for vanilla milk bread that uses this fold-in sheet..
bread, cornstarch, condensed milk, cream, egg whites, butter, vanilla oil
