Biscuits And Beef Stew Recipe

  1. Heat butter in a Dutch oven.
  2. Add in beef cubes and brown on all sides.
  3. Add in onions and saute/fry till translucent/soft.
  4. Stir in stock, apricots, prunes, garlic, and ginger.
  5. Simmer for about 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender.
  6. Throw away garlic.
  7. Remove meat with a slotted spoon.
  8. Add in cornstarch mix to pot and stir constantly over medium heat till gravy thickens.
  9. Return meat to gravy and keep stew hot while biscuits are prepared.
