Lucious Apricot Bars Recipe

  1. Sift flours.
  2. Rinse apricots, cover with water and bring to a boil, continue to boil for 10 min.
  3. Drain; cold and chop.
  4. Heat oven.
  5. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 pan.
  6. Mix till crumbly; butter, granulated sugar and 1 c. of flour.
  7. Pack into the pan.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
  9. Sift together the 1/3 c. flour with the baking pwdr and salt.
  10. Gradually add in the Large eggs to the brown sugar, add in the flour mix; mix well.
  11. Add in the vanilla, nuts, apricots.
  12. Spread over the baked layer.
  13. Bake 30 min.
  14. Cold in pan.
  15. Cut into bars.
  16. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
