Coffee Flank Steak Rub
- 2 packages (about 3.3 Grams Per Package) Starbucks Italian Via
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Chili Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Pull steak out of refrigerator about an hour before you start to prepare it to grill.
- Just let it sit and rest outside of the fridge.
- Turn your grill on to get it nice and hot.
- Mix all rub ingredients in a small bowl.
- I usually use these measurements for one piece of steak.
- These measurements are also very subjective; they work for me but you may like less coffee, more chili, more saltI think you get the idea.
- Rub both sides of the steak with the rub.
- Throw the steak on the grill.
- I grill each side for 4-5 minutes on an open grill.
- Flank steak is thin and it can be overcooked and tougher than rubber.
- Medium to medium well is as done as you want it.
via, black pepper, salt, ground chili pepper, garlic
