Coffee Flank Steak Rub

  1. Pull steak out of refrigerator about an hour before you start to prepare it to grill.
  2. Just let it sit and rest outside of the fridge.
  3. Turn your grill on to get it nice and hot.
  4. Mix all rub ingredients in a small bowl.
  5. I usually use these measurements for one piece of steak.
  6. These measurements are also very subjective; they work for me but you may like less coffee, more chili, more saltI think you get the idea.
  7. Rub both sides of the steak with the rub.
  8. Throw the steak on the grill.
  9. I grill each side for 4-5 minutes on an open grill.
  10. Flank steak is thin and it can be overcooked and tougher than rubber.
  11. Medium to medium well is as done as you want it.

via, black pepper, salt, ground chili pepper, garlic
