Cooking B Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 14 cups whole wheat flour
- 14 cup natural bran
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 34 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix all dry ingredients together.
- Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars on medium speed.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop round spoonful on a cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until starting to brown.
- Place on cookie rack to cool.
