Mission Accomplished Asian Green Beans

  1. In large pot of boiling water blanch the green beans for about 2 1/2 minutes but not longer than 3 minutes.
  2. Drain and immediately rinse with cold water to halt cooking.
  3. Place the cooked green beans in serving dish.
  4. Add the other ingredients and toss carefully but well.
  5. Adjust seasoning.
  6. Add salt if necessary.
  7. Garnish with toasted almonds or sesame seeds if desired.
