Meatless Enoki Mushroom and Okara Hamburger Steaks

  1. Mince the enoki mushrooms finely and either do the same to the garlic, or grate.
  2. Mix in with the beaten egg and soy sauce.
  3. Use your hands to mix all the ingredients together with a pressing motion.
  4. Taste and ensure that the flavours have melded.
  5. Fry the patties in a frying pan to make healthy burgers.
  6. Top with grated daikon and mentsuyu or soy sauce for a refreshing zing.
  7. You could also combine cheese and tomato paste to make a rich cheese sauce and pour it on the burgers.
