Lower-fat Ranch Dressing or Dip

  1. Mix the yogurt, mayonnaise and buttermilk together.
  2. Stir in the onion and garlic.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then fold in the chives.
  4. Keep refrigerated, covered, until ready to use (up to 8 hours).
