French Onion Soup
- 6 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 1 stick butter
- 3 cans (10 oz. each) beef broth
- 2 to 2-1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cracked pepper
- 1/8 tsp. curry powder
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Mozzarella cheese
- French bread, toasted with garlic butter
- Saute onions in butter until tender about 20 minutes.
- Add beef broth and remaining ingredients except cheese.
- Cook over low heat for at least 10 minutes.
- Place mozzarella cheese in bottom of soup bowls pour hot soup over cheese.
- Top with toasted french bread, and Mozzerella and Parmesan cheese.
