Broccoli and Crab Bisque

  1. In a saucepan, cook leeks, mushrooms, broccoli and garlic in butter until broccoli is crisp-tender.
  2. Remove from the heat.
  3. Blend in flour and seasonings.
  4. Stir in broth and cream.
  5. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened.
  6. Add cheese.
  7. Stir until melted.
  8. Add crabmeat and heat through.
  9. Do not boil.
  10. Remove bay leaf before serving.
