Chicken Pot Pie
- 3 chicken breasts
- 14 cup olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix
- 1 (15 ounce) package mixed vegetables
- 1 (2 3/4 ounce) packet country gravy mix (mixed with water but not cooked)
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 12 cup water
- Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
- Cut chicken breasts into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Pour olive oil and salt into preheated frying pan.
- allow 2 to 3 minutes to allow oil to heat.
- Fry chicken until both sides are white.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- Mix together in a casserole dish: uncooked/mixed gravy mix, onion soup mix, package of vegitables(thawed), cooked chicken.
- Stir together in large mixing bowl bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms.
- Pinch off small balls of dough and cover top of ingredients in casserole dish.
- When dish is completely covered with dough, bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Served best immediately from oven.
