Chicken-Fried Steak Bites

  1. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper; place in non-reactive container.
  2. Pour buttermilk over steak; stir to evenly coat.
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  4. Remove steak from buttermilk; reserve buttermilk.
  5. Dredge in flour, then return to buttermilk, turning to evenly coat all sides of each piece.
  6. Dredge in flour again; gently shake off excess flour.
  7. Add to 350 degrees F oil in deep fryer; cook until lightly browned and done.
  8. Drain.
  9. For each serving: Serve 2 oz.
  10. steak with 2 Tbsp.
  11. steak sauce and 2 tsp.
  12. honey.
