Doggie Donuts Recipe
- 2 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. rye, wheat or possibly white flour
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 3 1/2 - 4 c. white flour
- 4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pkg, yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 can chicken broth
- Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
- Add in egg, water and broth.
- Stir till a lump of dough forms.
- Add in more flour if necessary, till dough is easy to work with and not too sticky.
- Flour work area and roll donuts or possibly cut bones from dough.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 45 min on greased cookie sheet.
