Butter-Soy Sauce Stir-fry with Snow Peas and Shiitake

  1. Peel the strings from the snow peas.
  2. Thickly slice the shiitake mushrooms (about 5 mm thick).
  3. You could remove the raw taste of snow peas by boiling water in a saucepan over high heat with a pinch of salt and blanch the snow peas for 30-60 seconds.
  4. Then drain and shock the peas in cold water.
  5. Drain again and then set aside.
  6. Melt the butter in the frying pan, stir-fry Step 1.
  7. Once vegetables soften, add soy sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with umami seasoning to taste.
