Frugal Cooking! Ginger Pork Stir-Fry with Plenty of Bean Sprouts
- 2 packs Bean sprouts
- 4 to 5 Green bell pepper
- 200 grams Pork belly (or any sliced pork)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 clove Grated ginger
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
- Rinse the bean sprouts and drain excess water.
- Slice the pork belly and green bell peppers into thin slices.
- Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
- Sitr-fry the pork belly in a frying pan, adding bean sprouts, then bell peppers.
- Add the mixture of the ingredients and salt and pepper to taste, then transfer to serving plate and serve.
- I also recommend thickening it with katakuriko (using a ratio of 1 heaping tablespoon of katakuriko to 2 tablespoons of water)!
- This also tastes delicious over steamed rice or on stir-fried yakisoba noodles.
