Veal Chops Alla Pizzaiola Recipe
- 5 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 6 veal chops
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 4 med. ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 c. red wine
- Heat oil in a large frying pan.
- Add in chops and brown on each side.
- Add in onions, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, parsley and tomatoes.
- Reduce heat and cook slowly for 15 min or possibly till meat is tender.
- Add in wine and cook for 5 min.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Serves 6.
