Peas Pilau Recipe

  1. In 10 inch skillet, heat oil.
  2. Add in onions.
  3. Saute/fry till golden brown.
  4. Remove with slotted spoon and drain.
  5. In same skillet, add in cashews.
  6. Add in raisins and cook till puffy.
  7. Remove and drain.
  8. To skillet, add in rice and saute/fry till golden.
  9. Add in water and next 7 ingredients.
  10. Heat to boiling.
  11. Reduce heat.
  12. Cover and cook 20 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed.
  13. Stir in peas.
  14. Arrange rice mix on platter.
  15. Top with onions, cashews, and raisins.
