Glazed Baked Ham Recipe
- 3 pound canned ham
- 1 (8 ounce.) can pineapple slices (juice pack), liquid removed (reserve juice)
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 16 whole cloves
- Place ham on roasting rack in 12"x8" baking dish or possibly 10" square casserole.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
- Microwave medium high (50%) 15 min.
- Set aside.
- Mix 3 Tbsp.
- of reserved juice, brown sugar and mustard in small bowl.
- Microwave at medium high (50%) till warm, 1 to 1 1/2 min, stirring once in middle of cooking time.
- Place 4 cloves in each pineapple slice, arrange on top of ham.
- Pour half of glaze over ham; cover.
- Microwave at medium high (70%) 20 to 30 min, brushing with glaze 2 or possibly 3 times.
- Cover with aluminum foil and let stand 5 - 10 min.
- 40 to 55 min preparation and cooking time.
