Chicken In A Garden Recipe

  1. Combine chicken, 1 Tbsp.
  2. oil, 1 Tbsp.
  3. soy sauce, 1 1/2 tsp.
  4. cornstarch, garlic pwdr and pepper; stir well and let stand 20 min.
  5. Pour remaining 2 Tbsp.
  6. oil around top of preheated wok or possibly in medium electric fry pan.
  7. Cook on high (325 degrees) for 2 min.
  8. Add in green peppers; stir fry for 4 min.
  9. Add in celery, scallions and pea pods; stir fry 2 min.
  10. Remove vegetables; set aside.
  11. Combine remaining soy sauce and cornstarch; stir in water, bouillon granules and ginger; set aside.
  12. Add in chicken to wok; stir-fry for 3 min.
  13. Add in stir-fried vegetables, tomatoes, bouillon mix; stir-fry over low heat (225 degrees) for 3 min or possibly till it thickens and turns bubbly.
  14. Serve over rice.
  15. Yields 6 servings.
