- 1 tsp each Sugar, Sake
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp each Ketchup, Soy sauce, Sake, Mirin, Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- 1 tsp Katakuriko
- The meat I used.
- Dust the meat with the sugar and sake.
- Leave to rest for a while, then sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of katakuriko.
- Form into small meatballs.
- Put all the ingredients except the katakuriko in a pot and mix well.
- Add the katakuriko and dissolve.
- Heat over medium until thickened.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and roll the meat while stir frying for 5 minutes on medium to high heat.
- Then turn off the heat and let cook through in residual heat.
- Coat well with the sauce and it's done!
- If you want to check if it's cooked through, break one piece to taste and check.
- The meat is sliced thinly, so it should be cooked through.
- You can make this in just 10 minutes.
- The process will go smoothly if you make the sauce while you season the meat at Step 2.
- The meat will not fall apart even if you shake it because it is coated with katakuriko.
- Cooking the meat will make it shrink a little bit so keep that in mind for the size.
- Arrangement with cheese inside I wrapped 1/4 of sliced cheese (non-melting type) in the meat.
- I broke one with chopsticks The cheese is melted and rich.
- The picks I used are called, PICK BUS You can store them lined up all nice and neatly.
