Three-Bean Bean Dip

  1. In the bottom of a large shallow dish or pan, thinly spread the refried beans.
  2. A cookie sheet with sides also works well for this.
  3. Drain the garbanzo beans and add them on top of the refried beans.
  4. Sprinkle the chili powder and cumin on top of the beans.
  5. Finely chop the red onions and add them on top of the beans.
  6. Drain the black beans and add them on top of the garbanzo beans.
  7. Finely chop the jalapenos (remove the seeds if you prefer less heat).
  8. Sprinkle the jalapenos over the beans.
  9. Spread the sour cream over the beans.
  10. Spread your favorite salsa over the sour cream.
  11. Top with the shredded cheese.
  12. Then add the pepper.
  13. Top with the purple cabbage, tomatoes, sliced black olives, cilantro, and green onions.
  14. Serve with your favorite chips.
