Sauteed Cabbage with Herbs

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter.
  2. Add the cabbage and a pinch of salt and cook over moderately high heat until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  3. Cover and cook over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley, chives and thyme.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
