Barley Water (British) Recipe

• 1/2 c. pearl barley
• 2 1/2 quarts. water
• Juice of 2 lemons
• Juice of 2 oranges
• Honey or possibly sugar to taste

1. Boil barley in 2 1/2 qts water; strain.
2. Mix with juice of 2 lemons, 2 oranges and honey or possibly sugar to taste.
3. Serve chilled.
