Slow And Easy Beef Stew Recipe
- 3 pound cubed stew meat
- 4 med. potatoes, quartered
- 3 onions, quartered
- 8 carrots, cut in lg. pcs
- 1 (28 ounce.) can tomatoes
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can water
- 1 env. dry onion soup mix
- 4 tbsp. tapioca
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Mix meat, potatoes, onions and carrots in large casserole or possibly large roaster.
- Cut up tomatoes and mix with remaining ingredients; pour sauce over meat and vegetables.
- Cover tightly and bake at 300 degrees for 5 hrs without opening the oven!
- Makes 8-10 servings.
