Apple, Almond & Cherry Pie
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, toasted
- Add boiling water to gelatin in large bowl; stir 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Stir in cold water.
- Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened.
- Meanwhile, whisk cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl until blended.
- Stir in COOL WHIP and extract.
- Spread onto bottom of crust.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Stir apples and nuts into thickened gelatin.
- Refrigerate 10 to 15 min.
- or until set but not firm.
- Spoon over cream cheese layer in crust.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
