Grilled Citrus Spritzer

  1. Preheat barbecue and lightly oil grill.
  2. Slice one lemon and one orange into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Divide the citrus slices between the 6 skewers.
  4. Cut remaining citrus fruits in half.
  5. Grill citrus slices untl caramelized and marked on both sides, about 2 minutes per side; remove.
  6. Grill citrus halves cut side down until well-caramelized and warm 5-8 minutes.
  7. Squeeze and strain the juice from the grilled halves into a pitcher.
  8. Stir in honey and a pinch of salt until dissolved.
  9. Add cranberry cocktail, wine, carbonated water and ice.
  10. To serve put a citrus swizzle stick and a mint sprig in each glass.
