Cheesy biscuit topped chicken pot pie

  1. Pre heat oven to 450.
  2. Add half stick of butter to a large skillet pan.
  3. Sweat onions for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add garlic.
  5. Cook 1 minute
  6. Add chicken.
  7. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  8. Slowly add 1/4 cup flour to the pan while whisking.
  9. Cook about 2 minutes.
  10. Add 3 cup chicken broth , stir.
  11. Add 3 oz parmesan cheese.
  12. Stir .
  13. Bring to a simmer.
  14. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  15. Just enough time to make your cheesy biscuits.
  16. In a medium mixing bowl, add these ingredients for the cheesy biscuits topper.... 2 cup flour, 3 oz parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon sugar.
  17. Whisk to mix.... add 1 cup milk and half stick melted butter.
  18. Whisk and mix well.
  19. Add rounded spoonfuls of the biscuit mix into the pan.
  20. Do it in a clockwise formation starting outside in.
  21. Biscuits will expand .
  22. Don't worry if you think it looks weird, it will work and you'll love it.
  23. Place in oven.
  24. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
  25. Biscuits should turn a delicious golden brown .
