Baked Apples with Almonds, Mascarpone, and Honey Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Combine the mascarpone with the honey, leaving ripples of honey in the creamy mixture.
  2. Core the apples and fill the cavity with the filberts, almonds, and pistachio nuts.
  3. Top with a knob of butter and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. Serve without delay, as otherwise the apples deflate.
  5. Scrape out the bottom of the dish well, spooning the caramelized juice and butter mixture over the apples.
  6. Serve with the mascarpone and honey cream.
