Spaghetti Sauce
- 12 cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 12 lbs ground sirloin
- 1 (28 ounce) can Italian-style tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 14 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- In large stew pot, on stovetop brown onion in oil, add garlic and ground sirloin and continue browning.
- Drain well and add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
- Simmer on very low heat for 3 hours with lid on pot, simmer for another 1/2 hour with lid on.
- Serve over pasta or as desired.
