Buttermilk Bran Muffins
- 2 cups natural bran
- 1 cup whole wheat flour or 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup raisins
- 14 cup sesame seeds
- 1 beaten egg
- 14 cup unsulphured molasses
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Combine dry ingredients( first 7 items).
- Mix together in a bowl(egg, buttermilk, molasses, buttermilk, and bananas.
- Add the wet ingredients to dry ones and stir only until all ingredients are moist.
- Fill greased muffins tins 3/4 full.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
