Red Cabbage
- 1 head red cabbage
- 1 onion
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 apple
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp wondra
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp beef boullion
- 3 cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Saute onion
- Slice red cabbage very fine, shredded, using mandalin.
- Rinse.
- Add cabbage to onions, layering chopped apple and bay leaves.
- Steam for a few minutes.
- Add 3 cups water and beef boullion
- Bring to a boil, then simmer on med lo for 2 hours.
- Add vinegar and wondra to thicken.
