Red Cabbage

  1. Saute onion
  2. Slice red cabbage very fine, shredded, using mandalin.
  3. Rinse.
  4. Add cabbage to onions, layering chopped apple and bay leaves.
  5. Steam for a few minutes.
  6. Add 3 cups water and beef boullion
  7. Bring to a boil, then simmer on med lo for 2 hours.
  8. Add vinegar and wondra to thicken.
