Savory Stuffing

  1. Cut rolls into 1/2-1 inch cubes.
  2. Place in a large bowl and toss with olive oil and seasoned salt.
  3. Place on a large baking sheet and bake at 250F 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and set aside.
  5. In a large frying pan, cook bacon, onion and garlic until bacon is crisp.
  6. Transfer to a large bowl.
  7. Add the roll cubes, apple, parsley, sage, thyme and pepper.
  8. Toss to combine.
  9. Stir in just enough broth to reach desired moistness.
  10. Place stuffing in a sprayed 8-inch square baking dish.
  11. Bake at 350F 20-25 minutes.
  12. Cover with foil last 5 minutes of baking if necessary to prevent over browning.
