Spring Cabbage with Bacon and Chorizo
- 400 grams cabbage spring, shredded
- 50 grams chorizo sausage chopped finely
- 50 grams bacon smoked and pre-cooked, chopped finely
- 2 teaspoons sunflower oil
- 2 each scallions, spring or green onions sliced, chives chopped
- 2 each garlic cloves sliced
- 1 each carrots spring, sliced
- 2 each tomatoes unripe, greenish - reddish, diced
- 4 each sundried tomatoes oil-packed, diced
- 1 cup dill weed fresh, chopped finely
- 4 each plums california dried, diced
- 1 teaspoon thyme dried
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds ground
- 100 millilitres water
- 1 x salt and black pepper ground
- 1 - Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2 - Saute chorizo and bacon in the skillet for 2 minutes.
- 3 - Add garlic and onions with chives, saute for 2 minutes.
- Save some chives for garnish.
- 4 - Add tomatoes, plums, carrot, caraway, and saute for 1 minute.
- 5 - Pour in 100 ml of water, simmer 8 to 10 minutes without cover, stir from time to time.
